My Socrates reasoning

My friend once stated, "If I'm an artist, outside an art musuem I would go in, not waiting about if I want to see some real art." One may think so, but one may also be decieved. For why have a musuem if outside of it- the world is my canvas? even so, should I go in-its also possible that one should find the very delights of artwork are fascimile to outside? If this is so, how can the world, humanity and everything else fit inside such a small building?
