Behold,
songs of trust,
what hath the world has forgotten?
anatomy of the human sphere,
the architecture of our world,
as I watch the living meet.
Men proclaim how wide their empires are,
fancying royal fronts hence in forgotten ashes.
Know thyself for the dead go on living and he
who devours famine,war, and death.
