The Mystery of Missing Socks * Children's story

blue socks, red sox, yellow socks. Tye-dye socks, stretchy socks and even polka dots, Oh so many socks but where did they all go? Are they in the closet, under the bed, in a drawer or on your head? Perhaps under the couch, in the car, Oh where oh where did those socks go, surely someone knows- they can't be far! In a bag, at the park, at a friend's, or maybe even in the dark?! try the closet, maybe the bathroom, the toy chest, we'll find them soon! Oh where can they be, when suddenly............ The dog wanted to play, he ran outside and hooray! but the socks were dirty,muddy, and worn. Oh No! Not our favorite socks, they were so torn! Not to worry, please don't cry! There can be more socks if we just try! With this, Mom baked some delicious cookies and with extra special hands stitched some of coolest socks! Hooray, we have socks again and love sliding in them!
